The sizzling family event was held at Weston super Mare Cricket Ground and included a bar, barbeque and music to keep spectators entertained.

Our fearless fundraisers werer guided through the whole experience by fire walking expert and Guinness World Record Holder, Scott Bell, who recently appeared on BBC1’s “The Magician”, where celebrity guest Sian Williams and presenter Lenny Henry successfully completed the challenge.

Carers Rights Day – 3rd December 2010 – focussed on informing carers about the new protections provided by the Equality Act, which came into force in October.

Crossroads Care North Somerset promoted the day in 30 locations across the county with information available from hospitals, doctors surgeries and chemists
